Terms of Service

Effective June 2026

1. What Lumberspark provides

Lumberspark provisions and hosts game projects on your behalf: a GitHub repository from one of our templates, an AWS backend (hosting, database, realtime, auth, leaderboards), CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and a subdomain on lumberspark.com. You bring your own AI coding assistant (e.g. Claude Code or Codex); we do not provide one.

2. Accounts

You need an account to create games. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the service.

3. Billing, plans, and refunds

The base plan is $79/month and includes 3 games; additional games are $19/month each. Subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and is not pro-rated. If something is genuinely broken on our side, email us and we'll make it right.

4. Usage caps

Each game has a monthly usage allowance. When a game reaches its cap we may pause it and notify you, so your infrastructure costs stay predictable. You can upgrade to lift a cap.

5. Your code and content — you own it

You own everything you and your AI agent build on top of a template. Template starter code is provided under a permissive license for use within your projects. Your repositories live in your own GitHub account, so you keep your source if you leave. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host and operate your game.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Lumberspark to ship anything illegal, abusive, infringing, or that attacks our infrastructure or other users. We may suspend projects that violate this or that put the platform at risk.

7. Third-party services

We rely on AWS, GitHub, Clerk, and Stripe to operate. Your use of those services through Lumberspark is also subject to their terms.

8. Termination

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination we keep your live URL up through the end of the paid period and provide a data export on request; your repository remains in your GitHub.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Lumberspark isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
