Privacy Policy
Effective June 2026
1. What we collect
Account details (your email and profile, handled by our auth provider Clerk), billing details (processed by Stripe — we never see full card numbers), the games you create and their configuration, and basic usage and operational logs needed to run and support the service.
2. How we use it
To create and operate your games, process payments, enforce usage caps, send you build/deploy and account notifications, provide support, and keep the platform secure. We also keep first-party product analytics — what happens on the platform (signups, subscriptions, the games you create, and page views) — to understand usage and improve the service. This stays on our own infrastructure; we don't share it with third-party analytics or advertising networks, and we don't sell your data.
3. Service providers
We share the minimum necessary data with the infrastructure we run on: AWS (hosting, database, realtime), GitHub (your repository and CI), Clerk (authentication), and Stripe (billing). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
4. Your players' data
Games you ship may collect data from their own players (e.g. accounts, scores). You're the controller of that data; we process it on your behalf to run your game's backend, and you can export or delete it on request.
5. Data retention
We keep account and game data while your account is active. After cancellation we retain it for a short grace period to allow export and reactivation, then delete it. We may keep limited records as required for legal or accounting purposes.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us and we'll action it. If you're in the EU/UK, you have the rights afforded under GDPR; Lumberspark supports those requests.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the dashboard. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
8. Changes
We'll update this policy as the product evolves and note the new effective date here.
